Golf course architect Bobby Weed totally redesigned the Deltona Club (formerly Deltona Hills Country Club), adding new grass to tees, fairways and greens, planted more than 250 trees and installed waste areas to create a graceful golf course, with atypical elevation and rolling fairways. You’ll feel more like you’re in the hills of North Carolina than flat Central Florida.
"It's a nice blend of power and strategy," says head professional Nathan Wilson. "It's a step-up-and-bang-it course. At the same time, there are some holes out there where if you're not hitting the ball well, it'll pack your lunch and eat it for you."
